Evangeline Gallagher
is a freelance illustrator from Baltimore, Maryland. They received their BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018 and have gone on to illustrate bestselling books and editorials for clients including:
Penguin Random House, the New York Times, Disney, The New Yorker, Folio Society, the Wall Street Journal, ProPublica, Warner Music Group, Pearl Jam, The Cure, Dave Matthews Band, The Guardian, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Peachtree Publishing, Harpers Magazine, The New Republic, Scientific American, and many more.
Their work has been exhibited in the Society of Illustrators and recognized by American Illustration. They were the inaugural recipient of Folio Society’s Book Illustration Award in 2022, and won a silver Ennie award for their work on the tabletop game One Night Strahd.
When they aren’t drawing they can be found volunteering with lizards and turtles at the National Aquarium, painting a mural with their friends at Upright Entity, or attending a DIY show in a warehouse somewhere. They possess the speed and enthusiasm of 10,000 illustrators.
